Ambiente LLP

Allan founded Ambiente LLP in July 2005. He's a geologist with a Masters Degree from the Aachen Institute of Technology in Germany and a 19-year history in environmental consultancy throughout Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas.

Allan has participated in over 500 environmental assessment and compliance projects worldwide. He has extensive experience in both transaction support services and environmental health and safety management systems.

As leader of Ambiente, Allan focuses primarily on business and product development. He also regularly takes a Project Director role and continues to maintain a keen interest in all of our company projects.

Inga joined Ambiente as Commercial Manager in April 2006. She has over ten years experience in environmental consultancy with a background in land quality assessment, compliance auditing, environmental due diligence and risk assessment.

Inga forms part of our central project team, which means she manages a high volume of environmental assessment and due diligence projects. She specialises in providing tailored risk management advice and pragmatic commercial solutions.

With an eye for detail and a commercial focus, Inga undertakes a crucial quality assurance role within Ambiente. She is responsible for ensuring that our high standards and consistency in reporting are maintained across every project.

Sarah joined Ambiente in August 2005 and is our Technical Manager. Sarah has over seven years experience in fields of environmental due diligence, environmental property management, contaminated land assessment and environmental permitting.

Within our central project team, Sarah works alongside Inga Kooij to undertake high-level client and project management and technical quality assurance. She also assisted in developing our environmental property management database.

Sarah specialises in technical reporting, operational compliance and risk assessment. Another part of her role is to keep the group up to date with key legislative changes.

Carmen joined Ambiente Deutschland GmbH in July 2006 and accepted the role of Managing Director in January 2008. Carmen is a specialist geologist with a Masters Degree from the Aachen Institute of Technology in Germany. With 18 years experience in the environmental sector, she's an invaluable member of our leadership team.

Carmen has a background in hydro-geological surveying and in the design and implementation of intrusive site investigations and remediation strategies. Since 2006 she has specialised in environmental compliance and due diligence auditing.

As one of our most experienced members, Carmen keeps our German team focused during high volume and tight deadlined transaction projects, ensuring we always deliver to the highest standard.

Patric joined Ambiente Deutschland GmbH in January 2007 as a Senior Consultant. He holds a Masters Degree in Geology from Cologne University and has over ten years experience in contaminated land assessment and environmental transaction support services.

Patric co-ordinates our environmental property management programme in Germany. He also regularly undertakes environmental due diligence assessments for the retail and logistics sectors.

As a qualified Asbestos Surveyor, Patric brings a new skill set to the team, which has enabled Ambiente to extend our services.

Hans is our Commercial Director for the Netherlands. He has over 17 years experience in the environmental sector and holds a degree in Land and Water Management from the University of Deventer, the Netherlands.

Hans' work has taken him to projects throughout Europe, Africa, Asia and South America. His expertise is built from a background in environmental due diligence, environmental site assessments, remediation projects and implementation of environmental management systems (ISO14001).

Béatrice is our Associate in Paris. She holds degrees in Geography and Geology and has a Masters Degree in Waste and Pollution Management from the University of La Mans. Béatrice has 12 years experience in the environmental sector with a background in environmental due diligence, contaminated land and environmental site investigation, and environmental permitting. Her extensive knowledge of France's complicated environmental permitting system makes her an excellent auditor and skilled at identifying legal non-compliances and potential liability issues.

Almudena is our Associate in Madrid. She has over seven years experience in environmental consultancy, specialising in contaminated land, due diligence assessments and environmental property management. Almudena's many languages and great organisational skills make her an invaluable member of the team.
